Al Iaquinta vs. Bobby Green announced for UFC Fight Night 71

A lightweight barnburner is heading its way to San Diego.

Al Iaquinta will meet Bobby Green on the July 15 UFC Fight Night card at Valley View Casino Center. MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani reported the bout on FS1's UFC 186 post-fight show Saturday night.

Iaquinta (12-3), a Serra-Longo Fight Club competitor, scored a controversial split decision victory over Jorge Masvidal in Fairfax, Va. on April 4. That fight is best-remembered for Iaquinta's profane post-fight interview, in which he lashed out a jeering fans.

Regardless, the victory was Iaquinta's fourth in a row and seventh in his past eight fights.

Green (23-6), of Riverside, Calif., is looking to shake off a loss to Edson Barboza last November. That ended a memorable eight-fight win streak for the outspoken fighter nicknamed "King."
