Rothwell vs. Mitrione, Henderson vs. Boetsch added to UFC Fight Night 67 Empty Rothwell vs. Mitrione, Henderson vs. Boetsch added to UFC Fight Night 67

Three new bouts have been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night card in New Orleans on June 6 including a heavyweight showdown between Ben Rothwell and Matt Mitrione as well as the return of Dan Henderson as he takes on Tim Boetsch.
The new fights were announced during the UFC 184 weigh-in show on FOX Sports 1.

Rothwell is coming off the biggest win of his career in the UFC after he flattened Alistair Overeem in a bout from September 2014.  Rothwell has bounced up and down from wins and losses throughout his UFC career, but recently picked up his first back-to-back wins since joining the promotion in 2009.

He faces Mitrione, who is fresh off a dominant knockout victory over Gabriel Gonzaga from the FOX UFC Fight Night card in Phoenix last December.

Mitrione has won his last three fights in a row and now he looks to crack the top 10 for the first time in his UFC career as he faces Rothwell in June.

Also added to the card, Dan Henderson looks to rebound from the roughest stretch of his legendary career where he's lost two fights in a row and five out of his last six overall.  Most recently, Henderson fell to Gegard Mousasi in his return to middleweight after the fight was stopped just 70 seconds into the first round.

Boetsch will also look to rebound after losing to Thales Leites in a 'Fight of the Night' performance from UFC 183.  Boetsch has bounced up and down between wins and losses over his last four fights in a row.

The final fight added to the card is a lightweight matchup between two former Ultimate Fighter competitors as Joe Proctor takes on Justin Edwards.

The upcoming card from New Orleans will be headlined by two-time Olympian Daniel Cormier as he takes on former Ultimate Fighter winner Ryan Bader in the five round main event.
