Rustam Khabilov vs. Danny Castillo set for UFC on FOX 16

ollowing a cancellation of their original bout in January, Rustam Khabilov and Danny Castillo will finally meet at FOX UFC Fight Night in Chicago on July 25.

UFC officials confirmed the bout to FOX Sports on Wednesday.

The fight between Castillo and Khabilov was originally delayed due to a Visa issue for the Russian fighter and he had to be rebooked in a different matchup instead.

Castillo remained on the UFC 182 fight card in January, but suffered a knockout loss to Paul Felder, which dropped the Team Alpha Male fighter to 1-3 in his past four bouts.

Khabilov wasn't able to pick up a win in his fight either after falling short in a bout against Andriano Martins at UFC Fight Night in Brazil in February.

It was the second loss in a row for Khabilov after suffering a defeat to former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson last June.

Now both fighters will look to erase recent bad memories when they face off at FOX UFC Fight Night in Chicago in July.
